I’ve known Jennifer as a friend and trainer for almost 20 years. As a trainer she has consistently helped me develop a more in depth fundamental knowledge of horse care and training. She has also guided me with excellent assistance through the process of bringing young horses along with a program that makes the animals’ tremendous athletes and a joy to ride and be around. Jennifer excels at creating the total package for here client’s. What I especially appreciate about her training techniques is that she brings the horse and rider along as a team.

Jennifer puts a great deal of emphasis on adjustability and balance as the key to both horse and rider in order to have the best possible ride each time out. During her training classes she is constantly monitoring not only your body position but also that of your horse to look for ways you can improve each others performance. To paraphrase,   “a more balanced rider is a more adjustable rider and the same can be said for the horse.” This adjustability is the key to getting down any line with the best performance possible even in the worst of conditions. Training with her many years in Florida I can tell you that countless days were spent showing in the pouring down rain where your typical sunny day ride would not have gotten it done in those conditions.

Jennifer's professionalism is evident in every aspect of her training.  With her level-headed nature and all her experience she is able to bring out the best in each rider as she helps them bring out the best in their horses. It is amazing to watch young riders gain confidence and then glow with satisfaction as they ride ever more talented horses.

 One might think that with Jennifer's extensive equestrian background that she might have a "been there" attitude, but quite the opposite is true. Her enthusiasm for her work with horse and rider is infectious and inspiring.  It's not often you find a trainer so happy with a students' success on the day that her excitement actually keeps her awake that night!!

Jennifer is an amazing trainer and woman. She has a keen sense with people and horses and adjusts her training of both based on the individual’s needs.  She possesses a great sense of humor which is so important because this sport should be fun. Let’s face it, horses are not always predictable and some days are not always going to be stellar.  Jennifer will always put things back in perspective for you with a laugh and some inspiring words of encouragement.
